Being School Ready

We all want our children to be ready for starting school but what does 'school readiness' actually mean?

Being school ready means:

  • having strong social skills.

  • can cope emotionally with being separated from their parents.

  • are relatively independent in their own personal care.

  • have a curiosity about the world around them and a desire to learn.

Stories are a fantastic way to help your child learn more about starting school.
