We were so lucky to have workshops from published authors: Coral Rumble, Gareth P Jones and Annemarie Anang. Gareth P Jones was a huge hit and if his stories are a success in your house try Thomas Taylor’s - The Malamander series.

    Mr Jones in Peridot recommends:

f you would like to attend reading events with your child, then Barnes Literature Festival might be something you would be interested in on the 21st & 22nd of June. The response to Super Saturday has been fantastic. Coach Andre from JA Sports reports 50+ people on each of the last 3 Saturdays.

Our school business manager opens the site in the morning. Coach Andre manages the outdoor site between 9:30-12:00 and then the cleaning staff on Monday morning ensure we are ready for school life. Each family has a £6.00 donation on their School Money account to ensure we run every Saturday of the Summer term (excluding holidays). If you like the idea of our school being open but cannot attend yourself please still consider donating so that others can enjoy.

Happy World Book Week! We have had a fantastic time with our two visiting authors: Coral Rumble and Gareth P Jones. The fun is not ending as Annemarie Anang is visiting Reception, year 1 and year 2 for a dance filled workshop celebrating her new book: Dance Just Like So. This will happen on the 12th March.

Alan and Nuria in Carnelian recommend:

    Genre: family, narrative & picture

The deadline to order books through the PTA has finished, but if you would still like a book signed, you can still bring Annemarie Anang books to the signing.
