UKS2 News
Come and find out what UKS2 have been up to!
Year 5
The year group enjoyed their science practical experiment this week, to research and recommend the most absorbent and durable cleaning materials for the onerous task of clearing up at this year’s Camp Bestival. We have returned to fractions in maths and this time our focus will be on their multiplication. In English, we have been practising the skills that we will be bringing together in our ‘big write’ as a culmination of our learning. Our audience is the book’s author, Carol Ann Duffy and our purpose for writing is to convince her that the supposedly evil witch is a misunderstood innocent. Gymnastics learning in PE is progressing well, with plenty of children enjoying the warm-up activities. Finally, our weaving has taken off into the realm of designing and making woven landscapes! Wow!
