Festive concerts

Preparation for our December concerts is well underway! Children are busily learning songs, actions and other parts for their performances. Below are the dates again for the concerts. Please note that a maximum of 2 adults per child can attend a performance. This is due to capacity. Thank you for your cooperation. For the Carol services at St. Matthias Church, children can wear sunglasses for one of the songs. Please can they come into school on their concert day. Concert dress: school uniform. For Year 1 and 2, they can also wear a Christmas jumper if they’d like to.

 

Carol services, St. Matthias Church

Carol Service 1: Tuesday 12th December, 09:30-10:30

Sapphire class and Year 4

Carol Service 2: Wednesday 13th December, 09:30-10:30

Emerald class and Year 5

Carol Service 3: Wednesday 13th December, 11:00-12:00

Ruby class and Year 6

 

KS1 performances:

There will be two morning performances for Years 1-2 in the big hall.

Performance 1: Tuesday 19th December, 09:30-10:00 (approximately)

Performance 2: Wednesday 20th December, 09:30-10:00 (approximately)

Music lessons take place during the school day, which means that children will miss some lesson time in their classroom. To avoid children missing the same lesson, tutors rotate the lesson times each week.
