This week in Gems class we have really enjoyed the book Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers. We created the boats and sea landscapes that we saw in the book.  Our gardening sessions continued with Miss Collier, and we loved experimenting with seeds, leaves and soil. We are getting to grips with phonics and really focusing on our M sound. We are very pleased that one of our friends, Maxime, has a name beginning with this letter. We loved looking at all the leaves that are beginning to fall and change with the season. Families read for pleasure with our library books, and we hope this love of reading continues for all our pupils.
