Week beginning 12th December

This week in Reception, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes and spotting them in our learning spaces.

We have displayed all our learning of the letter sounds and red words by writing our letters to Father Christmas independently. On Friday morning, we posted our letters in the post box outside school. Fingers crossed we get a letter back soon...!

In our English books, we have reflected on our Nativity play, and we wrote a sentence using the red words ‘I’ and ‘was’.

We have also been busy making cards, paper chains and other Christmas Creations.

With the hard work still continuing in Reception, we are all ready for a well-earned rest over the holidays.
