We have had a very busy week this week! Reception have enjoyed celebrating Diwali! We have made rangoli patterns, done some Diwali dancing, made cards and done some ‘henna’; these are some of the different ways that Diwali is celebrated. Ask your child to finish the sentence “Diwali is the festival of _____”; they may impress you! The children have also learned about Remembrance Day, and have made a beautiful poppy wreath, as well as poppies to wear to help them remember the brave soldiers. In maths, we have been doing 1 more and 1 less with numbers up to 3.
