These worlds couldn’t be further apart, yet with the showing of the parallel lives of the two families, we see a simple truth. We are the mirror of each other.

We are going to continue our culture recommendations with a book close to home! The Big Book Series is a popular scheme of non-fiction books which look to build children’s vocabulary and factual knowledge.

Reading Age: year 3 - year 6
Genre: non-fiction (history, geography and nature)
If your child enjoys the Big Book Series then you can find books about a range of topics including: birds, marine wildlife, beasts, arts and plants. Finding a balance between non-fiction and fiction can be difficult but in an ideal world we would aim for 50/50.
