It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to The Vineyard School. Our school is nestled at the top of Richmond Hill and situated within stunning grounds. The Vineyard has been proudly educating children locally in Richmond for over 160 years, finding its final home on our current school site here on Friars Stile Road.
Year 1 have been looking at work by Andy Goldsworthy and Antony Gormley. Today we went outside and created our own clay faces

There was a real sense of calm in Y6 today. This afternoon, we explored a variety of different paintbrushes in art and this morning, every child approached their first SATs test with a positive can-do attitude. We're very proud teachers!

Vineyard Recommended Reads
As years 3, 4 & 5 go to the Barnes Literary Festival this week, a competition will be beginning in our school library. This summer, the children will have a chance to vote in the SPARK book awards. There are four categories: early readers, 7+ readers and 9+ readers. Children simply vote for their favourite book!
