Igniting a life-long love of learning

The Vineyard has been proudly educating children locally in Richmond for over 160 years, finding its final home on our current school site here on Friars Stile Road.

It was so lovely celebrating World Book Week with the children of the Vineyard for another year! We were so lucky to have workshops from published authors: Coral Rumble, Gareth P Jones and Annemarie Anang. Gareth P Jones was a huge hit and if his stories are a success in your house try Thomas Taylor’s - The Malamander series.

    Mr Jones in Peridot recommends:

    The Malamander by Thomas Taylor

    Reading Age: year 3 - 6

    Genre: fantasy, mystery & adventure

f you would like to attend reading events with your child, then Barnes Literature Festival might be something you would be interested in on the 21st & 22nd of June. There are over 100 events and this year authors such as Cressida Cowell, MC Grammar, Axel Scheffler and MG Leonard are performing shows.
